What stays on your device
Nicknames, settings, question IDs you have seen, game progress, and whether revealed guesses matched are stored locally on your device. Answer choices exist only while the current question is in progress and are not retained afterward. You can delete game data from Settings.
Purchases
Apple processes payments. RevenueCat processes an anonymous app user identifier and purchase history to validate transactions, restore purchases, prevent fraud, and provide aggregate purchase analytics. We do not give RevenueCat your nickname, answer choices, email address, advertising identifier, or a custom account ID.
Analytics and tracking
The app contains no advertising SDK and does not track you across apps or websites. Optional gameplay analytics are off by default. If you opt in, Couple Guess sends limited interaction events to PostHog to understand screen flow, game completion, and purchase outcomes. These events may include the screen, theme, language, app version, and timing. They never include nicknames, answers, prediction choices, match results, email addresses, or advertising identifiers. PostHog person profiles and session replay are disabled.
Sharing
A result image is created only when you tap the share button. The iOS share sheet lets you choose where it goes. Couple Guess does not upload that image.
Children
The app is not directed to children and is not submitted to the App Store Kids category.
Your choices
You can turn analytics off at any time and clear locally stored game data in Settings. Purchase records are managed through your Apple account. For privacy questions, contact jarycoco@gmail.com.
